This website is intended as a Mongolia fishing resource with information on fly and spin fishing in Mongolia, rivers, permits, seasons, camps and trips. We also provide a selective listing of Mongolia fishing trips, outfitters, camps and expeditions, and a trip planning service.
We are concerned about the future of sport fishing in Mongolia, in particular conservation of and threats to Taimen and the pristine rivers they live in. We want to promote the sport of fly-fishing and catch-and-release ethics in Mongolia, for both Mongolians and foreign tourists. We also want to encourage debate on fisheries management and conservation in Mongolia.
The primary author of this website is Andy Parkinson. He is a taimen fly-fishing guide and the founder of Fish Mongolia, he also offers a trip planning service and can arrange Mongolia fishing and travel services through Fish Mongolia and a selection of other Mongolian outfitters and camps.
